GitHub is how people build software – the developers at your company probably use it every day. But it can also be the one aspect of programming that marketing and operations teams "leave to the experts."
Now, our Patchwork event at TNW NYC will help you learn the basics of Git and GitHub! The exercises are self-directed and you can choose an Introduction to GitHub, or learn Git on the command line. You'll have the opportunity to walk through several GitHub tutorials at your own pace, with GitHub staff and experts nearby to walk you through the steps as needed. This is a casual, fun event, and while no coding experience is necessary, you'll need to bring a device in order to get the most out of it. We look forward to having you!
